Unterwegs in Jerusalem mit dem Bus

 
 

 

Das Busfahren in Jerusalem ist effizient und billig: 

1) Buskarte
Die Fahrkarte kostet jetzt 6,90 NIS.
Man kann damit 1 1/2 Stunden mit allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren.

Die "Kartasia" heißt jetzt RAB-KAW, man kann sie im CBS kaufen.
Damit kann man am Automaten oder im Bus 10 oder 20 Fahrten aufladen lassen.
Dann kostet die Fahrt nur noch 5,50 NIS.
Jede Person benötigt eine eigene Rab-Kaw.
Diese Karte bringt auch Ermäßigungen, wenn man über Land fährt.

2) Buslinie
Die Buslinien wurden geändert.
Die Linie 7 fährt leider nicht mehr zum CBS. Sie fährt zum Israelmuseum und zur Knesset. Allerdings fährt die Linie 74 ab Hebronstr. zum CBS.
Man kann zum CBS auch mit der Buslinie 7 bis King-George-Str. fahren und steigt dort in die Straßenbahn Richtung Mount Herzl um.

Auf www.egged.co.il kann man sich nach allen Linien erkundigen, sowohl innerhalb Jerusalems als auch im ganzen Land.


Jerusalem-Busse (Egged)  fahren weder am Shabbat (von 30 Minuten vor Sonnenuntergang am Freitag bis 30 Minuten nach Sonnenuntergang am Samstag), noch an religiösen Feiertagen.

Mit dem Bus nach Bethlehem

Man kann direkt in der Hebronstraße/ En Gedi in den arabischen Bus 231 steigen und nach Bethlehem fahren.
Es dauert nur 30 Minuten und kostet 8 NIS einfach.

Man muß auf jeden Fall seinen Pass mit dem Visum dabei haben, da man auf der Rückfahrt an der Mauer kontrolliert wird.
